Suburban Timewaster

I play video games and review them.

Marooned (Gamehouse.com)

A young woman is lost on an island with no memory of who she is.  Can she piece together who she was while discovering the island’s secret?

This plot couldn’t be anymore cliché.  You have the mustache twirling villain, you have to find the item before the bad guy does and you get mysterious orders from your boss.  Usually I put a spoiler warning if I’m going to delve into the story.  This time I didn’t bother because the plot’s that obvious.  There is nothing original in this entire mess.

The game play’s very simple.  You have access to a map, you go to various scenes and you find hidden objects.

When you’re finished, you get an item to add to your inventory.  You can also collect items that are not listed.

Then you use items to progress further in the story.

The game is not the best and not the worst.  I give it 4 out of 10, cliché and yet fun.
